Overview
Olibanum, or frankincense, is the fragrant resin of the Boswellia papyrifera tree, which grows on the hills of south-eastern Sudan. Like gum arabic it is tapped by hand and dried on the tree.

A full container is normally ready to load 10 to 15 days after the contract is confirmed. Transit from Port Sudan takes about 2 to 8 weeks, depending on the destination port.
